How to create the emotions you want to feel

Guess what? We have the power to create joyful emotions in our bodies!

Emotions are created by the thoughts that we think. When we intentionally think joyful thoughts or remember a joyful memory we actually create the chemicals for joy in our bodies. How cool this that?!

This week, we challenge you to experiment with using your imagination to create joyful feelings with your kiddos.

We’ve created a mindfulness practice script both in French and in English that you can read to your kiddos to teach them how to create more joy in their day by thinking of a joyful memory.

And if you’re looking for a little something extra to enhance the mindfulness practice, after you’ve read the script, ask your kiddos to create a poster or to write a paragraph that showcases their memory. Hang them up to create a wall of joy! 🙂
